That's actually something I've grown to like about musicals. Whatever It Takes would not have worked nearly as well if it was just plain dialogue and it being a song allows for it to do what it couldn't otherwise - make a character's internal thoughts external.

Oh god speaking of Whatever It Takes, I remember some stupid discourse people were having about it with them complaining that they didn’t get her part of the song because they don’t know enough about her yet when the song’s lyrics had her pretty much sing her motivations.

I actually did use the Epic Games Launcher for the free games a good few years ago and the whole time it just reminded me of how much I preferred Steam. I ended up just rebuying the games I got for free there on Steam.

than a hybrid console like the Switch, to the point where by default you can't use it as a hybrid in the initial package you get it in. The Dock is essentially just an optional, extra peripheral. Most people who have the Deck likely also already have a good gaming PC.

Well then, yeah, I think that answers the reason why only 20% of Steam Deck users have ever used it in docked mode then. It's not that it's a super niche thing - consoles show that TV play is still desirable to a ton of people - it's that the Steam Deck is advertised more as a handheld device

I generally like horror movies but horror video games I can’t touch after a certain point. A few years ago I tried to play the original Slender and got so freaked out I couldn’t make it past the third page.

This is honestly really nice! I don't care much about Concord but it goes to show that even the biggest flops deserve to be preserved.
