Finally got the front room in this old house to above 18 degrees C when it's freezing outside. Only been here 15 years, but the way to achieve this is installing a log burner and having it running for four hours. Obviously really 🙄

I know NEIPAs are what the cool kids drink, and BIPAs were last fashionable about 10 years ago but I don't play by no rules. Plus Black Iris brewery have a t-shirt of it too... that's so cool! I must have it... that's my outfit sorted for the Christmas work do then.

Right then... I used to always brew a dark stronger beer for winter drinking. This year I've decided to do a BIPA, and this one to be precise!

Speaking of Withnail and I, my boots smelled so bad after repeating getting wet I've just been looking at ways of improving their general odour. I read that bicarb neuralises it, so didn't go for perfume and hopefully avoid any altercations with angry blokes in Irish pubs!
