Had a really nice encounter with the T46s to break my month-long whale dry spell. Found them booking it at 7knts inner island and they actually passed right by my house through Pole Pass! Grateful for any chance to be on the water with these amazing whales!

She’s a regular here in the Salish Sea with 6 kids, 5 of which are boys! That’s a lot of mouths to feed and she is a fully capable and skilled hunter. The epitome of a powerhouse matriarch!

Yesterday was a dream! Got to see Northern Resident Killer Whales for the first time! Members from the A5 pod have been in Howe Sound and we took a chance and ran up there! Fortunately, we found them and even got to see them beach rubbing! So grateful for opportunities like this because of my job.
