1.Hades 2
My goty. The Hades formula doubled and perfected. I still can’t put down this beast of a game. Even more fantastic characters straight out of myth and a rocking soundtrack that I always have on repeat. An absolute must play.

2.Expedition 33
Yes, it as good as everyone says, masterwork soundtrack, story, characters, and a fresh take in the classic turn based rpg genre. This will probably sweep awards shows but it’s hard to argue with a breakout hit this good.

3.Hollow Knight Silksong
Team Cherry outdid themselves and was worth the wait. Makes Hollow Knight look like a demo in comparison with its scope and spectacle. Maybe the hardest game I’ve played this year but also one of the most rewarding.

Sold second one, absolutely a blast to play and the main reason to even think about getting a Switch 2. DK is back!

Not a full game but chapters 3 and 4 really get the ball rolling and where I really started to feel that this is more than an Undertale sequel or spinoff. Plus the memes are *chef’s kiss

Maybe disappointing for a long time monster hunter fan with oversimplifying the formula but even still hunting monsters is as awesome as ever and each new update gets it closer to perfection, can’t wait for the full expansion.

Part Boomer Shooter, part Dynasty warriors and a pinch of bullet hell its a bold departure but a fun time. If Eternal was too much this one is a bit more player friendly.

The newest entry is filled with so much charm with its animations and new character models and an absolutely banging soundtrack, its a shame its filled with lots of lil’ flaws that add up, (intermission tracks, poor progression system, empty feeling open world.)
