It's great that these protests are happening. But. I've seen this one elsewhere described as "massive." We can celebrate ongoing resistance for its own power without falsely characterizing them. I just wanted to get that off my chest. (Yes, I was there.)

FWIW I sent a letter to DC radio station WTOP today saying I would no longer listen b/c they run ads for Customs and Border Control. Nice response back, focusing on their need to be seen as unbiased - which works only at surface level of profit and lack of willingness to take a stand. Write them!

Ooh, is the time and place to say that while the idea of a union is just what we need, the execution of union activities that I've observed have too often been corrupted by power. Meaning that unions have their own in-group mentality and you just sick it if you're part of the right group.
