Outcomes of the Global Peatlands Assessment for Africa presented today at #COP28, with Ifo Suspense, Jean-Jacques Bambuta, @simonlewis.bsky.social and Lera Miles. Several African countries include peatlands in their NDCs for many years - a very good example how to address them in climate policies!

Niklas wrote an excellent MSc-thesis at IATD on the opportunity cost of rewetting farmed peatland in 🇩🇪.
