Neither Geno nor DK wanted to be in Seattle unless paid like Elite championship players. If you think they are not that, you need to move on. Darnold and Kupp are paid like the good players they are and allows team to find championship caliber players. That’s the idea anyway.

As an avid rugby fan, I can confidently say the only way to stop it would risk frequent head and neck injuries. Rugby has myriad safety rules for very similar phenomena. If you keep it, you’re going to have to add a bunch of rules that no one will want to see
