Johnny have you have you seen This Happy Breed by David Lean? It's on a par with Matter of Life and Death. Lacks the fantasy element but progenitor for soap operas I think. Also Christmas film! Definitely worth a watch. Try Youtube.

It makes you weep in the first five minutes. Watched when I was a kid, kept changing throughout my life. Hard to say there is a better British film.

Yeh, I find award shows cringe. Only watch it to see what's coming out.

That was one of the highlights. The animation and visual style was beautiful, game looks odd but unchaotic. The rest of the evening (apart from Res 9) gave me a headache.

Why? I mean Points of View but this?

I did have a problem with Paul Dano in TWBB, good actor though he is, found him annoying. Also I think the film isn't the 'masterpiece' (hate the term) people make it to be. Once his kid disappears from the film I lose interest and poor last act.

I would like to see a Christmas dinosaur film, never been done. My favourite rubbish (but secretly good) film is Don't Open Till Christmas.

Looks bloody annoying though. What were they thinking?

Miles might be an exposition and tutorial thingy that will almost certainly die/disappear. No way will he last long in the game.

XXXL Terminator 2. The sweat on his shirt... well done continuity sweat expert. They might have been acknowledged in the 10 minute post credits of a 75 minute film.

Loved it. Appliance horror at it's best.

I have the film but have never been in the mood. And why would you have that mood. Anyway if there was a watch party what would be the edibles and drinks?
