I mean, she's not wrong, but we haven't formally declared a war in over 80 years.

he has concepts of a plan. it'll be out in two weeks! 😃

if this vote is anything other than 9-0 to reject the request, doesn't that pretty well provide some pretty solid grounds for impeachment of those justices? (yes, there's pretty compelling stuff already but this seems so cut and dried)

Is there data on this that someone could share? My concern is that we are only talking about areas that are extremely Democratic leaning (D+10 or more). I live in a swing state and we were absolutely carpet bombed with attack ads on this, which I know drove Republican turnout.

Very cool. A habit I've picked up is trying to buy a copy of my favorite book in the native language of every country I visit. Makes for a neat conversation piece on the bookshelf.

There is no more dangerous combination than dim and ambitious. Sadly we see it all the time in business, and worse it is disproportionately men doing it.

More people need to take a few minutes to read about the Bogandoff affair. AI is making that same strategy easier than ever.

That would be Congress via the Impeachment process.

Awful. But what's almost as bad is that Democrats will be blamed.

45 years of this and people still don't get it.

Exactly this. I'd include pebble bed reactors, though.

I don't need to see the answer. It was President Reagan in his second term.

I don't understand why people don't get this. The NCAA gets over a BILLION dollars a year for the tournament alone. Even half of that is enough to pay the starting five at the top 100 schools a million a piece.

I, too, would typically get dye all over myself, so I appreciate the attention to neatness :)

I'll take "things I didn't realize were missing because of higher frequency hearing loss" for $1000

The cite is the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, most recently used during World War II.

It's never been used without a formal war being declared, but the current argument is that the language in the law does not require war to be declared. That's what will get fought in court.

Scary times.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but home sales and property tax info are public record. The date of purchase and price paid for the house should be readily available.

My 81 year old father's double bypass surgery went extremely well. He works hard to stay healthy, which definitely contributed to the good outcome.

We should have run Howard Stern against him.
