It’s out of necessity and because there’s little knowledge on gods being pregnant so they’d rather not risk it. Now because I believe MQ would still feel like a man I like to include ways he can feel masculine while in female form (masc makeup, adjusted male clothing and vocals) so he’s still comfy

I like to work within canon limits and in TGCF it’s absolutely possible for most of the cast to get pregnant (not counting unknown fertility issues like with LW) so I go with the most realistic use of Shapeshifting I can manage. Fem MQ would be there for the whole pregnancy and maybe a bit after
