A massive thanks to the 400 people who turned out last week to raise almost $10,000 for Gazan children via Aussie charity supporting those on the ground, Olive Kids.

ARO engineer , Mr Octavian Waszkiewicz working hard during his youthful years.
He oversaw the bodyshell mechanical-design of almost all ARO models and prototypes made at the factory in Câmpulung-Muscel, Romania.
He retired in the 1990's and lived until the age of 91, dying in 2014.

Dacia R523 / CN2 (codename for the future Dacia Nova product) prototype 1:1 scale model with functional interior. This was done around 1986-1987. The car would finally enter production much later, in 1995,and of course with some differences in style than what you see here.
