Finding a doc I like that takes my insurance is basically a miracle. I’m very pleased!

She also took time to talk to me about stuff!

My doc gave me a pap and I felt NOTHING! No pain, nada! That has literally never happened before. She is amazing and I shall sing her praises forever.

It just means you’ve been blessed. Everything I know about her is against my will. If Books Could Kill has a good bonus ep about her.

Not tonight but this past weekend I bonded with a new-ish friend over us both knowing you and saying you’re one of the coolest people ever! Dude named Zach, he met you at an air guitar thing.

And then she ordered a bunch of that bloodwork to get more information. She is way better than that asshat male endocrinologist I went to because I was referred to him and he wouldn’t believe me that I am not completely sedentary and maybe my systems are messed up. He can suck it.

I don’t think I have PCOS, I feel like it would have come up by now, but apparently what I know about it is if it’s a more intense version. I’m honestly just pleased to have a doc now who listened to my disparate symptoms and issues and was like “oh based on older bloodwork it could be related to Y”

But yeah, this doc is a dickbag who may be “going through something” and is making it his patients’ problems. I got what I needed from him. Next person I go to will be someone I pick vs a referral. Also gonna replace that GP while I’m at it. Any recs for those that take Anthem bcbs in NYC pls share
