Per a friend, this is telling people not to adopt American phrases and disregard their own language.
Pretty interesting stand to take, but I get it. Language is fluid and you nobody - especially a bookstore - wants to see it slip away.

Madrid might get the name recognition, but Alcala de Henares was where I stayed and I loved it. Old, beautiful, and lively (after 8pm).
It was like walking through my high school Spanish textbook.
