I’m shocked and heartbroken about the news about Dean English. An unexpected friendship developed between us during the campaign to save #WarriorNun. Even when everything fell apart we stayed in touch every couple of months.

The “lesbian family” sat in the front row during Catholic mass in Tennessee & watched their son be welcomed to his first communion with happiness, peace & joy. Sometimes activism in just being present can lead to small but powerful change.
