Where do we begin? We've had 10+ years of insanity because of Trump, and the currently relentless assaults on decency and societal convention are extreme. This has to be stopped by those who can stop it. Humans are being shot dead in the ocean, Trump Thugs are running rampant, and now there's this.

You seem to still be there.

That Welker so easily "moves on," instead of calling out this arrogant parrot is inexcusable. Russert—any legit journo—wouldn't have allowed it. And that she used the term "illegals" with such comfort &didn't even bother to ask what work these undocumented immigrants were doing, is another failure.

I thought the despicable Elevator Show would end him before he began; and then I thought this obnoxiousness. And then ... and then ... and he's still here.

There is something a little doth protest-y—and simply unbelievable about all of this. In another WAPO piece, we're given this piece. And we're to believe that, after being in place for 4 years, it suddenly became emergent to pull Trump-related content?

So many stupid people. Reporting could become a full-time gig.

If Trump, Noem, Homan, and these subhuman bastards are so confident, they should proudly wear uniforms and show their putrid faces, just like their role models.

Who did it better?
I have never been wild about the military, but for such a historic anniversary, the honor should have been real and grand. I am so sorry for those MOS who were literally paraded solely to boost a pathetic and dangerous man's ego.

This is a popular quotation, but there is scholarly dispute on its authenticity and attribution, with some citing Washington v Adams, and others noting that it's a paraphrasing, more or less, of the Treaty of Tripoli, signed by Adams. Whichever, Johnson is Moses, so, you know.

I don't think so. Unless everyone is coincidentally wearing the same outfit. This appears to be from March 10 of this year. My suspicion about the jackets-off moment lingers.

I don't know how many times I've thought "ENOUGH" in response to the hubristic squealing of Trump & Musk. That either might judge a patriotic & heroic American is disgusting. Senator Kelly is an American hero & patriot, & for Musk the Mad to dare insult him is ENOUGH! He & Trump have to be stopped.

This is a nightmare of fairy-tale insanity. In what world is this malevolence to be allowed?

I know that, in the scheme of things, his limited verbal skills are way down on the list of what's wrong with this guy, but high-five, Pete, for "rapidly AND quickly."
Unfit. Completely.

Good. What a near travesty. But the lack of coordination or interpretation or ... even rudimentary understanding is mind-boggling.

Sometimes a visual catches you off guard. I was looking for a bit of data on President Biden. Yeah, I know, but ... objects on your screen can smack you in the face.

In spite of all, despite all, a man of honor.
With gratitude for his service, for his loyalty, for his decency. Rest in peace.

That day, we lost our entire fire company, with whom my son had bonded when he was little—they let him hang out and even ride along when he was older—but we were still lucky. Now the landline's for rare legit calls—& robocalls during elections 😆. I never imagined a 9/11; it's best to keep the phone.

Beseeching our electeds to consider their own families—because the well-being of the country may no longer be of primary importance—is quite the indictment of their moral/ethical lapses.
Love of country seems to be so diminished when compared with fealty to a toxic clown that it's almost quaint.

He is challenging the use of a decades-old vaccine against polio (as well as other life-preserving vaccines).
You cannot possibly defend this stance or the madness of Siri and Kennedy.

Anyone with a brain will dread this. I was so young, but I recall the vaccination line & a municipal-looking place that reeked of rubbing alcohol. I remember my parents' relief—my father had had polio as a child. He was an exceptional lawyer & dad—& lived to 86—but the limp & weakness were awful.

And not here. And while we're at it, I'm not all that thrilled with "patriotic have-to's" blending into the rah-rah, either.

If you thought you were calming from the blaming of Biden for pardoning his son, you may not want to read what Chotiner has to say. www.newyorker.com/contributors... I must be so pathetically naive to still think that—less-than-perfection aside—Biden has been a good public servant. But then there's
