Did you know Albania has an AI as a member of its government? It seems like this hasn't been widely discussed.

Aging is feeling the urge to return to Japan solely for the food and stationery shopping.

If Teams uses the same emojis as Slack and Apple but with a different design, does that mean an intern at Microsoft had to review all of them and suggest a cartoony style? Did they hold meetings to approve the design for each emoji? I'm curious about the process.

I asked Nano Banana to make a piece of furniture larger, but it keeps serving up the same old image. Guess it's back to ChatGPT!

Shoutout to Polar.sh! Reached out to their support for a whitelist of IPs for webhooks, and boom—docs updated the next day.

My Apple Pencil 2 gradually stopped working. Changing the tip and trying all other suggested fixes didn't help. So, I sprayed contact cleaner under the tip, and it instantly came back to life. It's like voodoo magic!

Purchased overpriced, dropshipped lighting from a well-designed website. I feel so cheated, like I just sent all my savings to a Nigerian prince via Western Union.

Why hasn't anyone invented a full-body blow dryer yet? It would be much more hygienic than towels and open up a new market for the wealthy.

Turns out using a Dockerfile isn’t much more involved given there’s a generator for that!

I'm not sure this qualifies as vibe coding since precise prompts are used. However, I agree with the author's experience with using LLMs as a Senior Developer:

How to Vibe Code as a Senior Engineer
Over the past few months, I’ve rediscovered my love for building software. Not in the traditional way—writing line after line of code, plumbing together brittle libraries, grinding through boilerplate. Instead, I’ve been vibe coding. Vibe coding is a new way of building software where you use one

I don't hear anyone celebrating the return of a usable Apple Photos app on iOS and iPadOS 26. Thanks for listening, Tim Apple.

Spent far too long on an issue where I couldn't open a remote BEAM shell on my server without the container restarting. It turned out to be just an out-of-memory issue. LLMs were completely unhelpful. What a waste of time and tokens! #myelixirstatus

Stitch experimental mode (powered by Gemini) isn't much better at designing than what Claude 4 gave me...

Maybe it's my prompt engineering skills, but any noob should be able to get a proper design.

I asked Claude 4 to generate a "colorful" music gear comparison website with waveforms in the background.

I don't think professional designers are out of the picture just yet.

I now realize how much better the hiring process at Toggl is.

Wish every company was doing test weeks instead of arbitrary never ending challenges and interviews cause I *KNOW* I can do the real work perfectly AND get along with my colleagues well.

Tried Stitch to generate a website design.

Fifth time I'm asking it to make the hero section take the full width. I think I'll just give up and do it myself.

70's tech was pretty robust!

Just fixed a Kodak slides projector by re-oiling the moving parts and it is now working like a charm. I had my multi-meter ready but it turns out there aren't that many components in there...
