To stay healthy, Calypso's treatment is maintaining a diet of only the Rx food (not the falafel pictured 😂), formulated to reduce thyroid levels to normal. Untreated can lead to heart failure, kidney disease, & eventually death. W/treatment, they can live out the rest of their lives pretty normally!

One of the best mini life hacks I learned in my late 20’s was that you can get a glass of wine or any drink – or two! – at a hotel bar and bring it up to your room as a nightcap.
Very occasionally I get put up at a hotel for work, and I’ve gotten pretty good at hotel-ing 💅

Today we found out that, unfortunately, my lil old lady cat has small cell lymphoma (cancer). And also that the largest area of concern causing her pain & discomfort is maybe just…massive inflammation? Either way, waiting on meds from Chewy and having a tough night in the meantime. After everything she’s already been through this week, I’m gonna go home and she won’t be there & it’s like my heart is being ripped out. I hate this, but even more hate that she’s hurting😭
