ToS in most countries isn't capable of overwriting your rights, even if you agree to them. And it also wasn't proven DeepSeek actually agreed to any ToS. They could have obtained the outputs many other ways. So good luck even filling a suit, let alone winning it.

ToS aren't enforcable legally in most of the world. At most they can be used to deny you service. And OpenAI trained on YouTube videos anyway, which YT's ToS forbids. And that's not even mentioning OpenAI training on literal pirated content. So no, they have zero grounds for any legal action.

There's no scenario where what OpenAI did was legal, but what DeepSeek did was not.

City Interactive made this series of uber low budget FPSes, including Code of Honor trilogy and SAS: Secure Tomorrow. They're bad games. Ugly, short, janky. But they run on FEAR engine and a lot of it's combat feel carried over, so despite their issues I've had a lot of fun with them :D

I will also never forget the wonder I felt from first Myst 3 trailer. It sold be on Myst game not being done by Cyan with a almost horror like atmosphere, incredibly memorable lines and the creepy as hell ending with the always excellent Brad Dourif.

When it comes to actually selling you on a game, I don't think anyone ever did it better than Heat Signature. It's absolute masterclass at creating funny and entertaining trailer that at the same time explains high concept complex game most people never heard of. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Zp1...

Got couple favorites. I don't think anyone ever made their game's hero seem as badass as Splinter Cell Conviction did in it's launch trailer www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Gx9...

Yeah. Lynch loved life and people and it came out strongly in his work

So many :D I never bother. Even just finishing all the story content (main+side missions) in Valhalla took me like 200 hours. I can't imagine what getting all the collectibles would take.

Nah. a lot of great games heavily relied on decent-enough level of 3D graphics.

The one itching here to bicker is you considering you you're replying to a post where I laugh at Zuck for being far less innovative than Apple and yet you turned it into a passionate defense of Apple based on some bizzare assumptions of things I never wrote .

Some time ago Google decided to create a cute memory montage for me from photos saved in the cloud. I guess it recognized a trip into a forest two years back. Except back then I was just taking pictures to remember where I buried my dog. I never felt more angry at piece of technology.

Dude, it seems like you've fictionalized a complete construct of me in your head and you are now having discussion with it. :)

Apple hasn't been innovating, but Zuck's sole successful creation is 21 years old now. So to see him bash Apple for lack of innovation is hilarious

Not hard to underestimate then when weak people like Scholz are at the helm. Thankfully it's almost certain the next chancellor will be CDU's Friedrich Merz and he seems like a much stronger leader.

Yeah. Europe needs to step up finally. Relying on increasingly radicalized USA isn't a viable long term strategy. Not like there are no radicals in Europe, but there's still weaker and most of all, the fact EU is 27 democracies instead of one will always make it more stable politically than US

Yes. But I'm a Pole, I would relish the opportunity to fuck Russia over :)

Looks like he doesn't have the balls to go against Russia and China, so he has to bully his allies to make himself feel strong.

Finishing Destiny 2: Final Shape. Probably the last chapter of the type of stuff I loved this game for, so I'm enjoying this swan song from Bungie.
