Planning isn’t about predicting the future—it’s about creating the conditions where communities can thrive on their own terms. That’s the work I’m running toward. Thanks to those who’ve challenged, supported, and believed in me. Let’s keep going.

It means treating place not only as a product but as a process—one grounded in care, justice, and collective vision.

Right now, that means leading community-driven revitalization efforts along the San Pedro corridor in Albuquerque, pushing for equitable public infrastructure, and organizing around public policy that puts people first.

No rent control.
No eviction pause.
No mandates on rent prices.

Also included:
– Clear move-in/move-out forms
– Limits on companion animal deposits
– No required renters insurance
– Credit reporting standards (if used)

It’s called the Renter’s Empowerment and Neighborhood Transparency Ordinance (RENT). It would:
– Require landlords to register properties
– Disclose all fees up front
– Ban surprise charges
– Cap screening fees at $50

The RENT Ordinance is proposed by @mayorkeller.bsky.social and will be introduced by Councilor @tammyfie.bsky.social, by request of the administration.
