Celebrating my co-authored paper being accepted for publication with some homemade carrot cake. This paper getting accepted in a journal of this high quality really means a lot. It's amazing the difference one email can make!

At the end of the school year, it is always nice to get feedback from students. Hearing about their successes using skills from our classes means even more.

Massive day for SielpA Books as our first textbooks have been printed and delivered. Very very happy with the final product. Orders for Dictogloss in Action Gold, Silver, and Bronze are open! Time for a quiet celebration.

Just finished my last presentation/workshop for 2024. And what a great way to finish! Wonderfully engaged audience with great ideas for teaching.

We had a class today about giving advice to people who might be depressed. This
same task will be used in Dictogloss in Action: Bronze, in a lesson focusing on well-being and Movember.

ALAA was fantastic again this year. I can highly recommend this conference. And Tasmania was a beautiful location. Review of the conference coming this Friday. Watch this space. But for now, I'm on my long trek home.

Enjoyed another short run to start the day. Launceston seems a delightful place to work or study. Nice choice for ALAA2024!

My slides are ready for #ALAA2024 in Launceston next week. I really enjoyed this conference last year and am very much looking forward to this year's, too. Golf theme for this year's presentation storyline.

We used my Le Nez Du Vin smell kit in class today to try to get students accessing their memories of the past while
working on their fluency. Always an enjoyable class.
