Technically it's still autumn (fall) here but at 6pm in the dark and cold it certainly felt like winter!

There is some great winter climbing in the crags up there. Conditions are less reliable these days since our winters are much milder than in the early 90s when I climbed there regularly.

Was roasting, though. 37°C on the day we arrived and never dropped below 30° for the duration of our visit!
