I've been corrected that the MS-DOS ver. used is a specific PC-98 version, I had no idea. The copyright held by them still sounds minimal on that regard, but it's still super gray indeed...

MS DOS is MIT licensed, why would it be a problem or open them up to issues? Thousands of software use MIT code and sell it. Check the license yourself: github.com/microsoft/MS...
