If you bought him a while back it doesn’t make much sense to dump him when LIV are top of the fixture ticker? He’s always been a minutes risk and always capable of a haul. Suggest you just make sure you have strong first bench cover in case he doesn’t play.

There are so many paid leagues out there with decent money I always assume the folks paying or begging for advice are desperate to win and pay back some bad debts or something. That’s the only way I can explain it to myself.

It’s just another chance to mark the passing of time and seasons by doing something fun IRL with family and friends. You can choose how much or how little you spend. It’s growing popularity is purely down to the growing popularity of image-based social media.

We are drifting from your initial point but language extinction does not work like species extinction. Many words from Native American languages were incorporated into English or French or “whatever”. Colonised speakers continue to mix vocab, syntax and grammar. Modem birds contain no dodo, bro.

There is no ‘correct’, or ‘incorrect’ when it comes to accents. No tabula dei exists. There is only ‘intelligible’ or ‘unintelligible’. Whether you personally prefer classist constructs like ‘proper’ or ‘correct’ has no bearing on their linguistic legitimacy.

We do not pronounce “properly”. There is no “properly”. Accent is a spectrum and ‘properly’ is a classist construct.

It simply doesn’t matter because whether someone says “pro-nun-ciation” or “pro-noun-ciation”, you and I both know precisely what they are communicating. There is no ambiguity. No confusion. Neither sound like any other word, in or out of context. It does not matter.
