I AM THE PRIMARY PARENT TO TWO CHILDREN - A TRANS SON WHO IS AUDHD, HAS DYSAUTONΟΜΙΑ, AND POSSIBLY MYALGIC ENCEPHALOMYELITIS, AND A YOUNG ONE WHO IS AUDHD. MY NESTING PERSON HAS LONG COVID AND IS CHRONICALLY FATIGUED. WE ARE SEEKING ONGOING COMMUNITY CARE AS WE NAVIGATE EMERGENCY AFTER EMERGENCY - NONE WHICH WE WERE PREPARED FOR AND HAVE BEEN BARELY GETTING BY SO FAR THANKS TO COMMUNITY. MY NESTING PARTNER AND I ARE GENERATIONAL CYCLEBREAKERS - WE ARE TRAUMA AND ABUSE SURVIVERS. I SURVIVED CHILD ABUSE, CSA, SA, NEGLECT, BULLYING, MEDICAL TRAUMA, PSYCHIATRIC TRAUMA, AND INTERPERSONAL VIOLENCE. I WAS INITIALLY DISABLED DUE TO TRAUMATIC VIOLENCE AS A CHILD, AND THEN WAS FURTHER DISABLED DUE TO OTHER EXPERIENCES. WITH ONGOING COMMUNITY CARE, IN ADDITION TO OUR CURRENT RESOURCES, CONTINUAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT WILL ALLOW US TO REMAIN IN OUR HOME, CATCH UP ON UTILITIES AND OTHER BILLS, COMPLETELY REPAIR OUR ONLY VEHICLE, AND AFFORD NECESSITIES LIKE MEDICINE, APPOINTMENTS, GROCERIES, ETC. I CAME OUT TO SOME FAMILY AND I'VE BEEN DISOWNED, SO WE NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO MATERIAL SUPPORT FROM THEM AND IF WE LOSE HOUSING WHICH WE ARE IN DANGER OF WE HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS TO KEEP US HOUSED. PLEASE AT THE VERY LEAST SHARE!

$200 Needed for Black Disabled Elder's Motel Room. My dear friend who is a houseless disabled Black woman is in deep need of funds for a motel room. We are trying to get her at least a couple nights ($200) a week while we try to get her connected with longer term hospice care. Ideally we would house her in a motel for as long as possible to avoid the beurocratic nightmare and outright violence she has faced by the hospitals. She is currently unhoused with an unhealed wound with stitches from her belly button down from a tumor that was removed. She's even been met with direct violence by literal NIMBY fists. My friend Aya in Gaza is trying to escape through the Rafah crossing but a network of brokers in Cairo are forcing people to pay up to 10,000 a person to get on the list to coordinate their safe escape.
