A beautiful tribute. Your description of him as a mapmaker feels so true. I remember watching Inland Empire as a 17 year old in an almost empty cinema and feeling like it had completely reshaped my brain.

What record do you think would sound the best coming out of this beauty?

I will always remeber being 19 and going to the first museum of everything show in London and seeing the giant Henry Dager artworks they had on display there. Spent about an hour in that one room reading about his life and looking at his gorgeous art. Was so immersive and moving.

Such a joke, even if they'd listed these artists last year it would have been questionable!
