(3/2) They released an update with a new type of collectible, Decorated Pikmin. Collecting them was pretty neat and they all look pretty funny. They also added a harder difficulty and NG+, tho I can't play these for now bc of backlog, so just "updating" my 100% save it is for now.

There's an unlockable Gold Mario Skin and Gold Kart tied to Gran Prix, a gold Glider as the last Coin based Kart Part unlock, and Gold Wheels for beating all base game 150cc staff ghosts in Time Trial.
Also Amiibo suits. Those suits was the last thing I completed. Pac Man was the final one.

Booster Course Cups. Did these when their respective wave dropped. Always had cope that maybe these would unlock SOMETHING down the line (they didn't). Doing these was very easy, same as the base game ones)

Realised just know I never shared my completed MK8dx game. I only completed the final thing left to do a few weeks before the Switch 2 Direct.
I completed the Base Game cups when I originally got the game in 2018. 150, Mirror and 200 had to be done seperately, doing 150 auto clears 50 and 100.

The new KO Tour mode was pretty fun. Grinding 3 stars for them was a bit jarring tho. Having to be first for every "lap" of a race is kinda bs. I did these before the CPU nerf so idk how doable these are nowadays.

Beating any higher tiered ccm class auto clears any lower ccm class, like in 8dx. Unlike 8dx tho, clearing mirror 150 also clears 50-150ccm. I didn't know this so I 3 star cleared the regular one before doing the same for mirrror... oh well.

Completed "KH 0.2 BBS AFP" today.
An incredibly small game that was mostly made as a small tech demo for KH 3. Can be beaten in less than 5 hours casually, tho 100% completion requires* a NG+ playthrough. Was fun.
It's so small, it doesn't even have a platinum trophy lol.

Beat Sonic Forces yesterday. (It was on Sale so I thought might as well grab it.)

Was fun. The ingame trophy for maxing friendship for >every< Dream Eater was needlessly grindy, and needing to unlock Critical is eh, but otherwise the game was very enjoyable.

I completed these when the collection launched, but I haven't maxed out the star bit counters in Galaxy 1 until now.
I usually don't consider maxing arbitrary counters for completion, but this one had a (tiny) reward so, might as well.

Was fun. The Pixelart in this game is unfathomably beautiful.
