Yesterday morning, I went on an 8.5-mile run to view several murals of Dodgers players.

I am always amazed at what my journalism students are able to produce every day. They are a small staff at a small school & they produce several publications throughout the year. So I’m so extremely proud of them for being named an Online Pacemaker finalists.

Finished my 5th race of the year this morning. I’ve been recovering from a cold & bad cough so I was surprised my pace at the Firecracker 10K was better than I expected on this hilly course through Elysian Park.

I am inspired & in awe of the young runners in Students Run LA. At today’s Friendship Run at Hansen Dam, I accompanied students who were struggling in the last three miles of the 18.6-mile race. They had to finish the race ahead of the 16-mile-a-minute pacer in order to qualify for @lamarathon.
