Seems to me the crazy, unstable person is in Peachtree City, not downtown... I can see him there spouting Nazi propaganda like a manic street preacher!

I'm assuming it will be someone who has never owned or used a computer, pencil or notepad and has Anton Syndrome...

Also, they didn't "make themselves the only opposition" the distorted and distorting "democratic" system in the USA did. It mandates exactly two parties, preventing outside opponents. It mandates universal sufferage, and then pretty much ignores that result and asks the electoral college instead.

I think you decided to ask bsky..

Perhaps, but they didn't create them, they didn't vote them in, they didn't turn a blind eye to the Trump felonies. There's plenty of blame, and what's left of the democrats should fight, but the defenders aren't to blame for the fight, on capitol hill or in Kyiv...

Did you sniff the post to make sure it was covered in that stuff before posting?

Are you genuinely holding the Democrats responsible for the republican party and president?
May 12, 2025 at 12:08 AM
Oh yes they can! Look at Trump - he's useless and they've used him to destroy America.

Everyone running around saying "we are trying to save the planet". They aren't. They don't need to. The planet will be just fine, in fact it will probably be better, because we won't be messing it up any more. No, what all these people are trying to do is save humanity, and I'm not sure they should.

The era in which we knew what we needed to do to safe humanity, but social media told us not to, and billionaires told us it wasn't profitable enough (for them)

Although, to be honest, I think we are currently in the Facepalmoscene...

Ok, so I came here to say exactly this...

Oh, and yes, I went "squeeeeee"

I have studied the Orion Nebula on and off for 40 years, since I did Astronomy at sixth form, and in all that time, using some very fine, and in some cases very heavy telescopes, I've only ever seen images of in like this in books. I now own a device that can capture it properly and it's portable!

Yes, perhaps, but as a software and hardware architect and AI researcher, I'm also curious about what can be "created" by non-biological intelligence.

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate them, and I shall consider them.

No, not at all, I'm saying that I want mine to be read a particular way, and I wish I could do it.

I don't disagree, but if I want to narrate my book, but I have a speech impediment, should I outsource to someone whose soul isn't embodied in the manuscript?

There's always more than one way to look at it. If I run my own model, on my own hardware, if I train it myself does it become mine?
March 11, 2025 at 11:54 PM
I agree completely to that point. I wouldn't have self published if I wanted someone else to decide how my work is presented.

But using virtual voicing yourself and self publishing through ACX?

It's something I'm looking into (I'm planning to run the AI myself).

What's your take on that?
