So my twinnie has opted to waste his utter talents by writing 'books' full of so-called 'crap poems'.

This little lot are just shy of a staggering £9.00 (that's 15p a poem FFS!!! A Costa standard Cappuccino costs £3.80, that's the same as 2.37 cups o coffee!)

Turned 60 two days ago so went to Niagara Falks and Toronto, Canada for some light relief from it all.

Might want to move over there now!

🙄 How many times is the government going to reannounce funding for the Transpennine Rail Upgrade?!?

💬 West Yorkshire and Bradford needs politicians in London to take these issues seriously.

🚂 This is only a fraction of what the North needs to try and catch up after decades of underinvestment.
PM's train late for West Yorkshire visit to announce transport boost
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer visited West Yorkshire today to announce a major funding boost for transport in the north - but his train was late.

Had missed your daily grinds appearing on my feed each day with my self-inflicted refusal to put up with that ‘other place’!

Hope more of my ‘go-to’s make the switch too…
Great finding old chums over here - commenting or reposting is probably the best way for me to find and follow you back🙏🏻

Thought the current ‘retrospective’ might give new followers an idea of what we’ve all been up to ‘elsewhere’ since 2020 😉

Millennium People

So having started on my project, I needed a way of recording my daily activities so I bought a day-to-a-page diary and cut out one image from the day and stuck it to the relevant page.

The front cover is of Mick Leak who was in charge of the Shipley Glen Tramway on the day.

Millennium People…

25 years ago, I embarked on a “What are we going to do to celebrate 2000?” conversation and came up with a project idea whereby I would photograph someone every day of the year and host an exhibition of the results.
