I fully support it. My concern is that it doesn't go far enough. There's so much hand wringing about taking anything (any. Thing.) From obscenely wealthy people and redistributing it to the rest if us. UBI is a small and effective step in the right direction.

I don't doubt the media influence. I would gully support some kind of system or law that forced propaganda and conspiracy theories out of 'news' cycles while aggressively encouraging coverage of actual crimes and conspiracies (many being uncovered now). We should not allow or export this garbage .
