Review 1122 TRANSFORMERS COLLABORATIVE X HOTWHEELS BONE SHAKER & TWIN MILL Not gonna lie, these are some of the coolest looking transformers designs we've gotten in years in terms of original characters! And its for a Crossover with freaking Hotwheels of all things! Nothing wrong with Hotwheels mind you, not my thing personally but I definitely get why they're successful. And the car designs just fit so perfectly to be made into transformers characters, and even though I dont care much about the franchise, I'd definitely be down to get more of these! Bone shaker especially i really latched onto! The old style hot rod vehicle with the big ass skull and crossed bones on the front of the grill and also the chest of the robot! The black deco and flames! And I always adore when they can make a transformer out of a top less vehicle where you can see the interior! And hes also got my favorite Robot mode between the two as well! Proportionally hes nicer with the bulkier shins, small torso, but shoulder pads made of the wheels and exhausts! And that head sculpt is mean as fuck! Hes also got great articulation on the go with basically everything you'd need baring wrists and his feet are a bit alward, as only the back hell part pivots... and yeah... I gotta admit, his accessory is goofy as fuck, being a giant gear shift that sticks out of the damn car and he can... beat people with it it's guess... alright?! I enjoy the creativity though! Then there's Twin Mill. Who, dont get me wrong, is still an amazing figure. But just doesn't have the same flare or dynamism as Bone Shaker. The alt mode is still pretty sick! All futuristic and decked out with two engine intakes and swish pipes going along the side of it! And he comes with these neat blast effects fitted exclusively for his exhausts... so no they can't be used for other blast effect ports unfortunately. And I will say hes definitely got the mode unique transformation between the two, with the way the shoulders flip around and the chest and legs are formed, hes somewhere between POTP Punch/counterpunch and 2010 drift! And for sure is definitely fun to convert back and fourth... except the entire engine and pipe assembly is partsforming... I mean they're technically accessories as they mount onto the arms as canons, but I dont like that they dont do anything else! And robot mode is... aight! With the chunky arms and small thighs though hes more akward to pose unfortunately. But hey, hes got flamethrowers! Thats pretty cool! Despite their few quarrels these are two incredibly fun and intuitive figures! And regardless if you're into the franchise or not, you'll have a hell of a time with these toys! They're loads of fun and also just... look so damn cool!

Review 1121 TRANSFORMERS AGE OF THE PRIMES FLATLINE I already loved the Red Alert mold, its solid, well articulated and well proportioned, and pretty accurate to the character! And for a while, I considered not getting this Flatline repaint as, well... I dont know who this is. Apparently hes a movie character from the comics who also appeared in IDW? But also not accurate to either depiction? Aight! But im glad I got em anyway! Decepticon medic characters are definitely far and few between. And this deco justice FUCKS! I cannot state how absolutely beautiful the clossy deep black plastic is just perfectly sexy, and the transparent red pairs perfectly with it! And the new head sculpt they gave him is mean as fuck! Oh yeah, hes definitely here to stay! And I like pairing him with his fellow Movie Decepticon Red Alert repaint Crankase! Who was a gift and a childhood favorite. So he hits home for me apparently more than I had thought! Yeah I love him! If hes within your means and catches your eye, I'd say go for it! Hes worth the time of day for sure!

Review 1120 Some little guys... TRANSFORMERS THRILLING 30 BLINDBAG TRANSFORMERS PRIME WHEELJACK & ROBOTS IN DISGUISE TINY TITANS SIDESWIPE Really not much of a review here, but more a showcase of some little random guys i have in my collection! Wheeljack was gifted to me by a friend and I found sideswipe in a goodwill bin and paid basically pennies for. So basically they're both just small static things that dont do much, but are just little charming versions of the characters if you want em. Not something I'd actively go for, but definitely not complaining about having them around! Review 1120 Some little guys... TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS LEGION CLASS SEEKERS!

These little guys got big problems!

In my legends collecting journey, a trio ive wanted to complete for years was these guys! And im so happy that this year I've finally done it finding reasonably priced copes of Thundercracker and skywarp who are apparently hard to come by? And yeah my skywarp is missing his guns but im not too bothered this time around since I got it for a bargain! Now this mold i will admit... is not the best, even for old legions. The transformation is incredibly creative for the size sure! Shifting the mass using the legs jn such a unique way and using excess panels and turning them into faux null rays is pretty genius! Idk if the fake cockpit on the chest was completely necessary? Because the cockpit ends up right behind it anyway? Maybe its because the torso would be to fragile without it? I dunno. But transformation is have no quarrels with! Its incredibly fun! But the robot mode does suffer a great deal! I know legion scale toys are not gonna be known for articulation and I get that and accept it, its part of their charm! But his legs are just... ass! The hip joints dont move forward or backwards, only swinging outwards for transformation, and hes hot a 90° knee bend that... really serves no purpose given the hips can't do shit. And he would have head articulation... if it weren't for the nose cone being folded behind it clashing with the wings! Things about as articulated as g1 optimus! He got joints but he can't use em! But I can't help but love them! Im very nostalgic for starscream specifically and all of then together are so pretty! I'm sure the core class ones are technically better but I like THIS scale! Review 1118 TRANSFORMERS EARTHSPARK DELUXE STARSCREAM Once again I've got a figure that I didn't bother with when it came out because let's be honest, its just Cyberverse starscream in slightly different colors. And I feel a lack of care put into the toys is a huge contributor in the early death of earthspark. Though I did find this guy semi recently for a bargain at a local collectable shop, so I nabbed it! And as to be expected as a repaint of the Cyberverse deluxe, its still an extremely solid and fun mold, I love this thing, not to my surprise! Articulation is a banger, transformations fun, and honestly I might prefer this deco over the Cyberverse version... its just... not a good representation of the Earthspark character! And I'll leave it at that! There's far too many earthspark toys that are just Cyberverse carryovers like Shockwave, the other warrior seekers, and prime and grimlock just being retools that really just leaves the line lackluster! As toys on their own they're fine and good, but if you want accuracy... it ain't here chief!

its hard for me to get excited about this guy in hand and it truly is because of just afew factors... Let's talk about the one everyone's talking about first, the minicon Jetstorm's apparently been known to just shatter on people on the hinge that holds the tail fin to the torso. Now I myself havent had any issues and seems to function smoothly put of the box, but hearing that makes me not wanna mess with the set that much. And also, in my opinion the updated minicons are too crowded and busy in their engineering. Idk how else they could've done it but I almost prefer the original minicon team over the new ones with their transformation and proportions! Secondly the nemesis releases of this mold is flawed as well! Not so much QC at all, but rather just unusual decisions I don't agree with. Foremost I really miss that trailer! Removing the trailer is Removing half the functionality of the original release, its not like G1 optimus where hes perfectly fine without it, since the super mode is literally baked into the mold and you can't use it! Unless you slap him on optimus' trailer and the colors dont match. And yeah I know he didn't do it in the show, but again, might as well if he can right!? And on a more petty note, while yes, the face they included is absolutely badass and a great hallmark to the show! But also I wish it was optional? Like do what some other companies do and include alternate heads for different display options! but the biggest thing that killed the joy for me was the price... here in the US they charged 90 damn dollars for this thing! Basically commander prices for half the commander product! And yes im aware the minicons do affect the price, but realistically not as much as the missing trailer would! I would've happily paid 70-75 for the set we got, or 100-110 for the set with the trailer! But instead I reluctantly paid the price he was given.

Review 1115 TRANSFORMERS BINALTECH LASERWAVE Finally finishing off my little Alternators journey with an entree from the Japanese variant of the toyline! And Shockwave here(aka laserwave in Japanese markets) might be my favorite of the few i own so far! Not accounting for the higher quality plastic, die cast car shell, and the prettiest paint job ever, all hallmarks of Binaltech vs Alternators, but as a mold regardless of variation, he's just the most solidly built one there is! With well rounded unhindered articulation, mininal kibble and pretty good proportions given what he has to accommodate in vehicle mode! And in my opinion this is the best looking car of the bunch! The Mazda RX-8 is a beautiful car in my opinion, again as someone who doesn't really do cars! Again hes got the perfect car functionality with two sets of opening doors, an opening trunk and hood, steering... literally what more could you want!? Hes great as a car, great as a robot and fun to transform! So as far as my experience goes... hes the perfect Alternators mold! Only enhanced by the Japanese upgrades! I dont know if ima delve into this line more or not, but yeah, having Shockwave here im pretty sure I've already hit the peak!

Review 1117 TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS TRACKS Today we carry Onward with not only the next Alternators toy in this lot, but also a standout fav in my childhood collection im happy to have obtained once more! Probably not a hot take to say this is one of the best toys of tracks there is! Not that there's much competition... once again they nailed the altmode perfectly with functioning doors ,hood, and even adjustable side mirrors on this one! With a beautiful interior and just a lovely color scheme, and a corvette is definitely perfect for the character! Transformation on this one is actually really fun! The way the legs unfurl, and the arms tuck inside the shoulders and... yeah hes got a faux chest but like, I understand it with this toy wanting to keep a bit of that traditional Tracks look but if they used the real hood he'd be entirely too wide! And the transformation is engaging enough that the fake chest doesn't feel like a copout! And just... look at this thing! Of course hes not accurate to anything, Alternators was more stylized and modernized versions of the character. But they absolutely grabbed the essence of the character! Like this gives off tracks' energy perfectly! And he just looks cool regardless with the door hipskirts, the big shoulders, and the deployable arm cannons and shoulder missiles! Its clear a lot of love was put into his design! And articulation is pretty decent too for the line standard. Arms are a little funky but you can get a full range out of em, and the legs are limited by kibble but far from the worst. Idk, it could be nostalgia talking but this is just a genuinely fun transformers toy with plenty to keep me entertained by! And even if he's not perfectly accurate or the most dynamic thing in the world, hes just solid all around and definitely worth the spotlight here!

Review 1116 TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS SKIDS Next up in my Alternators collection is who I believe was the first ever in the line? Thays right! Its my homeboy skids whose recently kind of become my favorite inconsequential transformers character and a good year for collecting him with his G1 toy and now this (is also got a third one I'll be showing off another day) But as toys go this dude is actually quite enjoyable! Once again the alt mode is quite stunning as a replica of a real car! A "Scion XB". Never heard of it! But I very much enjoy these compact body vehicles and the fact that all four doors work along with the hood is quite nice! Not super into the sparkly finish on the windows though, looks dirty and I wiped them to make sure they're not. And if you're not into the flames, the Japanese deco is a nice solid blue so there's that! But we mustn't forget! He is a transformer, and he does quite well as one with a transformation thats not super difficult but definitely involved! With a done of things flipping around solid parts and an internal armature in the torso everything folds onto to create a surprisingly solid robot! I actually really love this design for skids, between the hood beer belly, cubic arms and legs and really clean head sculpt. Hes just friend shaped! Love how clean the backpack is especially compared to other releases in the line, hell its better than a lot of studio series backpacks! But he definitely isnt built for war, with a tiny pathetic peashooter and articulation stunted by his bulk. But far from the worst movement I've seen! Biggest complaint i really have is the leg kibble is kind of obstructive and ugly, and again I wish he had a more impressive gun. But overall... not bad! Hes a solid toy from 2005! And for an early entry in the line, they did good!

Hey! Its Wheeljack! He makes stupid robots!

From what few Alternators figures I've handled in feel Wheeljack has got to be the weakest... I mean its not all bad, for starters the alt mode is absolutely beautiful. Coming from someone who knows jack shit about cars in general, the gimmick being 1 to 1 realistic licensed vehicles is lost on me a little, but I can still acknowledge when it looks super nice! Apparently he's a Ford Mustang of sorts and it does basically everything you'd want out of a model car with opening doors and a full interior, moving steering wheel, opening trunk, pivoting axel, and a hood that reveals an engine inside! Albeit the hood on this one is a pain to open and often comes undone with various panels... But its from this point forward where the toy loses me a bit. The transformation is a god damn nightmare! Not particularly complicated but it is fiddly as fuck with tons of tolerance and clearance issues. Causing him to fall apart, especially at the legs and his back panel, and I absolutely despise this step where you have to feet his head through an entirely too narrow panel to get it in place over the hood... long story short its not a fun experience and the robot mode you're left with is... alright. I'll admit, he looks cool in robot mode! The hood chest and the shoulder doors make for a cool silhouette and that face sculpt is sick! But his chonk definitely nerfs his articulation a bit and despite having tons of joints, is too clunky to really get good poses out of. And his seat feet and loose hips leave him a little unstable too so he feels like hes gonna topple over at any moment. And that butt flap is just... so untidy. In the end, if you're going into this line I wouldn't start with this guy, I'd say only buy him if you're a fan of that specific car or a wheeljack completionist... otherwise there's better toys on the market!

Review 1114 TRANSFORMERS CYBERWORLD ULTIMATE CYBER CHANGER MEGATRON Yeah he sure is "ultimate" alright... the ultimate disappointment! I should've looked up reviews of the original knight armor Hound toy this was repainted from because I was expecting at least a little more play here. Because not gonna lie i love this thing conceptually! A big chunky megatron who turns into a missile truck with his loud as fuck G2 camo deco! And he wears the Hound mold surprisingly well! Its just this particular mold is ass! With zero articulation on the go besides elbows that can't do a perfect 90, and a simple but admittedly satisfying transformation. Hes an overglorified One-Step Changer! And even though they added functionality to this release with a new cannon and backpack that can turn into a weapon mount for the regular cyberverse toys... its still just overall... a mediocre toy experience... especially for 30 USD!?!?! Hasbro is out of their freaking gourd!

Review 1112 TRANSFORMERS CYBERWORLD SNARL I absolutely adoredbthis design from the moment it came out! Hes such a deviation from the typical dinobot DNA with an asymmetrical and rustic design much more akin to a junkion, and I found that super cool! However I didn't pick him up until a few months ago when I had a return to make and couldn't get my money back at target and could only use store credit... so I had 10 dollars to blow there and he was my choice! I didn't buy him when he was new bc i just didn't feel like going all in on cyberworld toys. I still dont but in the end I am glad I caved on him, hes nothing special, just a neat simple transformer like the rest ultimately. Adorable but again 10÷ dollars in this economy is a stretch... Review 1113 TRANSFORMERS CYBERWORLD ELITA-1 As far as when im typing this goes, Elita here is the only Cyber changer from the new wave I bought. And really its because of two reasons. One: its elita-1! Who doesn't love her? Though im still ultimately the Arcee fangirl, im glad other female characters are getting the spotlight in a somewhat decent attempt at inclusivity in transformers. And two: she's a boat and I think thats awesome! Boatformers are so rare to come by! And as a toy she's pretty decent, she functions much like the recue bots boat mold, where you basically squeeze her together to form the boat, so its a really simple geared together transformation. But articulated! And she's got that basic Cyberworld articulation of shoulders hips and knees and not much else... But hey! She's got some beautiful eyeliner so... 10/10 toy!

Review 1110 TRANSFORMERS AGE OF THE PRIMES ALPHA TRION I dont have much to say except this guy is absolutely lovely! Its so refreshing to see a toy of alpha trion thats finally allowed to be his own bespoke mold not repainted from another character. I also adore that hes based on his appearances in both "war dawn" and "forever is a long time coming" as a younger version of himself best known for turning orion pax into optimus and fighting in a resistance against the Quintessons! Though I do understand hes ment to be his own Alpha Trion and not exclusively G1, as he comes with a book and quill pen, which presumably is the Covenant of Primus. And I absolutely adore this gimmick, its such a refreshing take as opposed to your bog standard weapons transformers tend to come with, and it feels extremely appropriate for the character as a wise elder whose lived through history. Everything else about him though, is pretty standard though. Hes got good articulation, no wrists but hes got knuckles and some movement in the abs. And his transformation is extremely simple but effective turning him into a slightly more interesting version of the space boat he was in legacy. Will say the cape/shell actually integrates itself well in both modes without feeling like blatant shallforming so... congrats! All in all hes one of the better primes they've released in the line! Great for the price, and doesn't do anything wrong really! Just a solid toy of a great character!

Review 1109 TRANSFORMERS RETRO SERIES SEASPRAY I have made my decision, im now gonna go all in onnthe deluxe minibot updates, and not just settle for many of the core/legends releases from years ago. That being said, Seaspray was just as much an in-person impulse buy as the retro Brawn was! And seaspray, while amazing, does suffer from the reason why I initially kept many of my legends class minibots. The way hes built and the way he works is vary much cut from the same cloth as older versions of the character. And thats not inherently a negative, titans return Seaspray was damn near perfect aside some wonky proportions and some irritating partsforming, this version simply took that same transformation, cleaned it up and fixed everything to make him even more perfect! So if you want a truly new experience, but already have the titans return version, you basically already know what you're getting into, the biggest surprise really is panels in the feet that make the foot flatter and some smaller panels all around. And dont get me wrong, none of this again is a negative! Hes an excellent figure with an engaging enough conversion, great proportions, and about as much articulation as you'd want, bar wrist rotations. Hell besides the wrists there's literally zero flaws with him as a whole. Its just they basically already nailed the Seaspray DNA on previous toys, and now its just minor upgrades from here on out! Which is initially how I felt about beachcomber too! Though because of this and the recent reissue... I think I might just upgrade him too, fuck it!

Review 1108 TRANSFORMERS RETRO SERIES BRAWN So yeah... I avoided this mold when it came out initially because I had the Titans Return version of both Brawn and Outback, and I was so tired of constantly upgrading my collection over and over again, and in some ways I still am. But I must admit, finally caving in and giving this mold a chance, hes actually really fucking good! Its not every time a G1 minibot that gets upgraded to a deluxe is a banger. Take a look at warpath and the earthrise bumblebee molds as flawed examples. But bran im pretty sure is as perfect as he can be, ad these colors definitely stand out to me way more than the SS86 releases, the black windows and the deeper green abd yellow are just simply more appealing in my opinion, though i wish they included the original cartoon head as an option! Where this mold truly shines though, in my opinion, is its transformation! The way the legs unfurl and wrap around the body while the arms tuck away into the backpack with the grill stored inside the chest leads to a very satisfying transformation made up of various trucks seen before but it all pairs well together, and ultimately leading to what is simply the most perfect little off road vehicle guy! Hesitant to call it a jeep because I dont know enough about cars but im pretty sure hes not supposed to be a jeep. But regardless its just an overall well sculpted, super solid little car! And thats probably the best way to describe this lad, simple but perfect. Aside from adding wrist swivels i wouldn't change a thing. Well worth the purchase though inwish I got it before the price hikes...

Review 1107 TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN VOYAGER MIXMASTER Hahaha! You thought we were done with constructicons this year, but guess again bucko! Mixmaster is my favorite constructicon and its all because of this guy right here, I thought he was so cool as a child and im extremely happy to have finally reaquired him again complete! Now this figure does have a bit of a reputation back when he came out. Notorious for being "overcomplicated" or "difficult to transform"... and I will admit as a kid in 2009, I definitely struggled getting him looking clean in his alt mode and even just transforming him smoothly. But obtaining him again as an adult... he really is not as bad as people made it seem! A ton of the joints he has in the panels and such really exist for minor cosmetic adjustments and articulation. Once you know what you're doing, its actually a straforward and satisfying conversion, able to be done in sections and closed together in several swift motions, but intricate enough to keep ya engaged for a few minutes! All that on top of the insane articulation and customizability in his appearance, leads to what has probably become one of my favorite toys in the original 2009 toyline! And he even has a third cannon mode! Which let's be honest... is mostly just him on his belly with his legs in the air, but still looks cool enough! Unfortunately he doesn't have any combining capabilities, but there are other options if you want a ROTF Devastator, like the original supreme class set with no robot modes or the recent Studio Series toys from a few years back! But as a stand alone toy, I think hes simply excellent and well worth the aftermarket price! Which for a nearly two decade old toy of such quality, hes not that expensive! So all things considered... GET EM!

Review 1106 TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES 86 MIXMASTER (Devastator part 6- finale) The final member of the construction has finally released the other month, at long last completing Devastator surprisingly fast as all members were released within the middle of 2025. And yes, Devastator as a whole is great, hes splif, decently articulated for the size, and has good heft... irs just a shame all the individual members were just so... bland! Mixmaster here i actually do also find quite interesting, much like long haul. Hes got decent articulation abd looks quite good proportionally. But what i enjoy most about him is his leg transformation is kinda of insane! The way the feet and heels and front of the cab all maneuver around eachother is super interesting to me, and while thebrest of his transformation is just kinda of him tucking away, the legs alone keep the transformation engaging to do over and over again! Giving us both a solid cement mixer mode and leg mode! It is also worth noting that the ankle tilts for the combiner are installed inside both mixmaster and scrapper, but on mix its slightly lower than scrappers so his ankles aren't even, its nit drastic enough to ruin posing but it can make it wonky in extreme poses. But aside from that its a solid base with a lot of support, even a hell spur, for Devastator. All in all, mixmaster is a pretty good sign off to the team, nothing to outrageous or egregious, fits well with the other 5 and let's be honest, most of us will be keeping them together as Devastator anyway, and as a whole, I think the team was worth it!

Review 1105 TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES 86 SCAVENGER (Devastator part 5) The fifth member and second arm of Devastator, scavenger here is not that much better compared to some of the others. He has the same limited articulation as the others with no wrists or waist and even has bonecrushers shared legs! And hes got one of those transformations where things get in the way and you have to do it in parts whixh isnt satisfying to me in any way! And hisbhands are painted green, which is weird, they're molded black and the paint chipping is actually horrendous because they hinge into such a tight space in alt mode... and even in alt mode you can really feel the limitations there as the cab doesn't swivel and he doesn't have wheels under the treads. All you can do is move the bucket around which... is fine I guess. I still feel hes better than bonecrusher for sure, but there's two ways I feel they could've fixed this design that high key would've made him a banger! First off, his bucket tail is removable, but the port is on the bucket and the peg is on his back... they could've easily swapped the two and added a few extra ports on the arms so he could use his bucket like a weapon at no additional cost to the figure! And since his hands fold in on a hinge... make them ball joints so they can swivel! C'mon hasbro the easy solution to all articulated hands is RIGHT THERE! But alas, scavenger is kind of a boring middle man of the group. Not my favorite but far from bonecrusher. At least he makes a good arm!

Review 1104 TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES 86 HOOK & LONG HAUL (Devastator parts 3&4) Next up in out Constructicon line up we got these two, sold together under the "Commander Class" bracket, but is more functionality just a multipack plus accessories! Starting off with hook, hes a pretty bog standard release, not too functionality dissimilar to his predecessor from combiner wars. Actually he feels much the same as that near decade old toy plus stronger plastic and a few minor upgrades like a bicep swivel, articulation shoulder flaps, denser plastic and a tider combiner head storage! Posing is a little clunky but far from the worst I've seen and its mostly just the lack of wrists and waist (like everyone else so far) and hus lanky proportions. I do enjoy that you can even remove the crane arm and use it as an accessory if you want to! And it can make for a sick weapon! Long haul on the other hand... is probably my absolute favorite of the six! A complete and total upgrade from his previous incarnation with absolutely zero shared engineering, this lad is solid and dense with great hand feel, and probably the best articulation and proportions in this whole set! No wrists still, to be expected, but his movement is enhanced with balljointed elbows and super deep knees, along with an optional second knee if you want that extra movement or the optional look! Ad hes got the smoothest transformation of the bunch too, turning into a lush dump truck, with unfortunately no dumping capability. However I absolutely adore that you can turn all the combiner bits into a tidy lil trailer you can hitch onto the back of his truck, which is probably the best solution i think there is for all those excess parts! And it really does compliment the look of his alt mode really well i feel! And this set makes up the majority of DEVASTATOR himself! Hook and long haul themselves form the main torso and head, which is to be expected, with the trailer of accessories forming the hips and thighs, the lower arms and hands, and the chest plate! So the bulk of Devastators functionality is in this set! And devy has great articulation on show here, for his size. Full ratcheted hips with hip skirts that move out of the way, 90° knees, and a waist swivel! The arms got standard universal movement and the legs provide ankles! Only areas i wish were improved on are the hands, I feel could've been done cleaner or more articulated, and I wish his head looked down. But overall, im happy with what we got!
