A nice problem but I feel like a good first step should be to use y and y+6 for the side lengths, particularly since the problem doesn’t ask for x.

At some point in elementary school, we went around a 19th Century graveyard recording all the death dates. Even at that age, we could recognize there were a lot of kids. I was very grateful to be born in the 20th Century.
