It is funny how much changed since 2013. Sonnoah was the very first created OC for this story (and it was a rp for Bleach at first, given I still use magic weapons with spirits in them that have names, which is ironic given Sonnoah doesn’t have an immortal killing blade, but meant to kill Lilith😭)

I originally never planned for James to have the ability to set blood on fire/boil it. But it worked with his burning key and sword, and given his themes.

I merged them since the TL would work, plus it lets Olivia reunite with a friend she thought she lost.

Plus it shows off her mother Persephone’s nature aspects and her powers by reviving the deer for being her only friend at the time, after she sent Nemesis to kill the village that abused her.

But as I started getting stuff down, Aevthyael ended up being a character I liked too much. So she even overshadows James and Ellie in portions of the plot. The great white stag (based on actual myth beings) and Olivia’s deer friend that was killed were separate stories altogether in lore.

I started out with Aevthyael and Olivia being minor characters, even had a whole different story planned for Isobel (Aevthyael & Imogen’s mom. And her name was originally Chloe, wanted to make all of their bloodline’s women have Is at the beginning of their names, Aevthyael was hiding with her name)

Honestly this is perfect for describing the whole AI slop problem.

Let’s also not forget how we have studies proving using things like ChatGPT actually makes us dumber. 😭
