'Stand By Me' was the first film I watched when I landed in America. Last night, in honor of Rob Reiner, I watched it again. It aged like good wine! At the end, we learn that Chris (River Phoenix), now a grown man, was slain, his throat slashed by a knife. It was hard to sleep later.
