Seem to recall in a previous comment that you were saying we were unqualified when suggesting we didn’t need to sell. Seeing as they are ex pros I’d say they’re qualified. And £120m fee if we did sell.

He’s been pretty vocal in recent interviews that he’s happy here & said the newspaper gossip about transfers is false. He said it just a few days ago. If he wants to play CL he just needs to keep scoring for us.

Was deffo a red card like. He slipped while he was leaving one on Schar. Tried to do him because he lost his head.

He’s 25, 20 goals a season. Probably top 2 strikers in the PL. Closest to an Henry regen there’s been & he’s under contract until 2028. He’s a £100m minimum signing. They’d have to put their money where their mouth is but no guarantee we’d entertain the sale.

I can read perfectly fine. Your OG post doesn’t really make much sense other than suggesting Osula should play more than he is. When he’s ready he will still be second fiddle but atm Isak is playing most 90mins

Most pundits said it was a red. Shearer only gave mitigating reasons for him falling with his right foot on Schar’s back saying he twisted his left ankle. But he twisted his ankle trying to leave something on him. I can see things from a balanced viewpoint but that was avoidable for Duran.

Tbh I thought it was a red card seeing it live in real time. It only looked worse when it was played back in slow motion. I thought he stood on him on purpose with his left foot & hurt his own ankle in the process. Then he leg dropped him with the right like a wrestler. 😳 deserved red card.

Rogers went down like he’d been shot by a sniper. Looking back at it, Joelinton’s hand barely touched his arm. Rogers trying to buy a red a card to even the sides up after Duran was sent off 🤷🏻♂️😂

Yeah I get that. If he is being truthful he’s very silly but I can’t see a world in which he wouldn’t want to sign or sell anyone. The journo’s have always said their strategy is to play down activity to avoid inflating prices

I just don’t think we are getting any offers for the fringe players as much as we’d like to prune the squad. Almiron or Dubravka are probably the two with most value before we start selling players like Isak, Bruno.

I think £40m is probably his realistic value if it wasn’t Steve Parish negotiating. But his contract is running down his price will drop. He’s a quality player although not as strong in the air as Botman/Burn. Hopefully Mitchell can convince Howe to look to Europe for targets.

Guehi despite conceding/scoring the OG against us was the main reason they salvaged a draw. He was at the centre of all their chances in that 2nd half. Bit mad for a CB dictating play & creating chances like he did. Agree he’s not worth £70m though.

Need to get Miggy in the shop window for January. Would be nice to get some more minutes for Osula but he hasn’t shown much when he’s been on. Howe must think he needs more time, like Hall did last season.
