but that being said i take A LOT of notes about stuff they want or ideas they have (not just the ones that benefit me) and try to incorperate them into the story in fun ways. it helps that the story i planned was pretty loose and i can adapt it easy lol

i stop and let them do their thing when they wanna chat and do whatever before gently guiding them back on track. ive had no compalints so far 😅

nah forreal though, i only have half a campaign under my belt. its going well but i told my players from the start that it would be a linear story so i tend to guide things,
