I thought Allen got it too, but the Bills executed poorly and it was close enough for the refs to have an outsize impact. Get 1.5 or 2 yards instead of .9 and there’s nothing the refs can do. Fact is the Chiefs outplayed the Bills. This causes me much pain to say, as I was rooting for the Bills.

Disagree. I think that’s Shanahan getting too cute. Like Matt said, Mason has been averaging over 7 yards per carry and you give it to Juice with the game and the season on the line? Time to shut it down. Play the rookies and let’s see what we have for next year.

Shanahan cannot get out of his own way this season. I don’t know if defenses have figured him out or he just can’t adjust when his favorite guys are injured. Either way, he’s been a liability for the Niners offense this year.

Obviously Caleb should have gotten the play off sooner, but when your rookie quarterback isn’t getting the play off in time, it’s your job as head coach to call the TO.
