Le film “Un médecin pour la paix” dresse le portrait inspirant d’un Palestinien de Gaza brisé qui a choisi de répondre à la violence de la guerre par un engagement sans relâche pour la paix. Dans ce documentaire, la réalisatrice Tal Barda retrace la vie du docteur Izzeldin Abuelaish, dont la maison a été bombardée par l’armée israélienne. Tourné avant la reprise du conflit en octobre 2023, le message de paix porté dans ce documentaire, en salle le 23 avril, résonne aujourd’hui plus que jamais. Rencontre avec le principal protagoniste du film, le Dr Izzeldin Abuelaish.
