Where the movie took the approach of looking at real world animal and merging various qualities, thus the 'sceather' wings. Where this is supposed to be what Paolini himself imagined her to look like. And the 'lore accurate' art depicting her in her full sapphire blue is stunning. (2/2)

When thinking back to the book description, there is a lot of room for interpretation. I think each depiction has a place. The cover illustrations have a very unique look that make them stand out. On each of them whilst making for a cohesive set. (1/2)

Oh, I feel this, so hard. Art especially, I have gotten to the point I need some more specialty type mediums to do specific details.

I don't plan on changing anything with the 50% off on the originals, which I will let run until the end of October, or the auction for the Reshiram original, b/c I need the money as is, and it will be nice to have just in case.

I am not familiar with that book/novel.
The song from Evanescence though is one of the few songs that got me into genres beyond like New Age, and it is still a genuinely great song.

PFFT! xD I do not know if there is anything worse than 50 Shades, I am actively trying to think of any books that could be worse than that.

Okay, to be fair, Twilight is better than 50 Shades, so not the literal bottom of the barrel.

The books get a lot better with Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance. There is a very stark writing style change/improvement from Eldest to Brisingr though. And for the original book being written when Paolini was...16 I think. I think it did a good job. Better than Twilight at least.

I tried to re-watch it a while ago, knowing what is in the book vs movie is just hard. Still my favorite Saphira design though. I like the new one that Paolini and Wraithmarked are doing with the statue, but the movie one will have a soft spot for me.
