I loved him when he started, convinced myself it was lame over time, and now I’m back on board. He’s good!

Anyone that thinks Ringo is bad needs to listen to the isolated drum and bass tracks for I Want You and Happiness is a Warm Gun. Masterful shit.

Luckily I started buying retro games before the prices shot up so I have most of what I really want. I love the feeling of real controllers and all that jazz. Grateful for emulation preserving things from becoming lost media, tho!!

I never got into emulation. Not against it, but I love collecting physical media in general and I don’t have a good PC

Generations are made up, but the consensus I’ve seen is that 2012 is the end of Gen Z. Regardless it’s getting pretty pedantic at that point.

There are people in Gen Z that weren’t born when Skyrim released.

I think it goes all the way back to the PS2 GTAs, which then gave Red Dead 1 in 2010. Pair that with the Elder Scrolls games and we’re still basically in the exact same space.

Obviously systems like the GameCube and N64 have maintained pretty high value, but you can build a decent PS2 or 360 library for dirt cheap instead of paying $70 a pop for new AAA titles.

I’m a young millennial (born in ‘93), and basically all my friends were interested in retro gaming starting back around 2005. Seems like something that hasn’t really changed. Obviously there are outlier titles/systems, but you can get a lot of bang for your buck when you’re broke buying retro

Shin-Soo Choo being on the ballot brings me a lot of joy, despite the fact that he will never get in (I think he’s a good player but absolutely doesn’t have a spot in the HOF). Enjoyed his brief stint with the Reds a lot.
