For the past few days I've been watching this incredible hummingbird, which I've named Jimbo, do various things in the yard; from doing his best to control two feeders to harassing a Cooper's Hawk, Jimbo has claimed my yard as his own.

I can vouch for the claim that it's child secure; I had one hell of a time getting this opened and had to seek assistance from a feral child who conveniently enough, had a chainsaw.

I put out some bark butter and the grackles are enjoying it. There’s a few more lurking about. They’re a treat to watch.
