Good to know! Though I would love to attempt to have all, or at least most of it written before posting this time. I had the first half of this fic written before posting and it was nice… until I caught up with myself 😅

So far not looking great at getting any edits done this week 😅😅 I’ve been over scheduled.
I will say, there’s a very high likelihood that the story gets a part 2. I planned it as a 3 part fic, but wrote it with the thought I may not ever write part 2 or 3 if there isn’t interest.

Didn’t read that one but there’s another massive fic that I got 50 chapters into and realized there was still so much to go and had to stop because the plot I’d come for had been resolved ages ago and the fic was just repeating itself. See it happen in every fandom, especially if a fic is popular /🧵

I’ve learned long ago that there are too many good fics out there, if I’m not vibing with one, if it’s not holding my attention, I just move on no matter how many comments it has. I write longer fic so I don’t tend to comment on length but 1mil words is too much for me… 🧵/1

Thank you for sharing these! They’re great! The part about how they took the criticism of the sex/lack of sex was interesting. And a good reminder that if you’re trying to write for the opinions of others, you’ll always fall short and have to stay true to what you know the story needs to be

I hear you. This chapter is nearly 10k & I'm debating the merits of cutting it into 2 chapters versus trimming 2k. But I'm going back and forth on which will be a better solution for the story. There's not a balanced placed to cut but I also feel like cutting 2k will be tough. I hate all options 😫
