Over 8 months i visited Anna Espelt, biologist & winemaker at Vinyes Espelt (Alt Empordà). Her regenerative vineyards not only honor 8 generations of grape growing—they even stopped a wildfire in 2022. Science, tradition & landscape in the always breathtaking Cap de Creus.

They are part of the ‘mosaic’ of the vineyard a system of integrating extensive pastures around the vineyards to help control wildfires and bring more biodiversity to the land. Anna pressing the first selection of grapes which are destined for a Michelin star restaurant.
