Gen Xer here. My provider did an MMR titer for me this week along with regular blood work for a physical. Guess what? No immunity! 😳

In Iowa, Medicaid covers over a third of births, over a third of children, and half of all people in nursing homes. Plus, low-wage workers, caregiving parents and people with disabilities. The level of cuts House Rs are talking about would be devastating.

Iowa’s hourly minimum wage has been stuck at $7.25 for 17 years, putting us out of step with neighboring states of all political stripes. SF 101 (www.legis.iowa.gov/legislation/...) would raise our minimum wage to $15 an hour, benefiting hundreds of thousands of workers and their families.

Bad photo, but sweetest pup. She showed up in our yard this morning, wet and shivering, no collar. Facebook sucks, but we found her family via “lost dog” post on neighborhood page, and got her home.
