There's a book called "The Town that vanished" which is about the worktown mass observation of Bolton in the 30s with photos by Humphrey Spender.

The book "The town that vanished" by Ian Robinson is about the mass observation of Bolton in the 30s. It has some Humphrey Spender photos & some very evocative writing, particularly the chapter on wash day.

I feel a bit for him,he was brilliant in his early days with us;a very good shot stopper. It's strange how his form fell away though. This will probably be a good move for him,hope it goes well.

I feel for him. Sounds like he's had to play through injury for quite a while. You could see that it definitely affected his form.Hope he can get through it as it would be good to see him in a Schumacher side.
