Just a small update. Idk if this is a big brain move or not but I’ve made 2 patterns for the back. 1 with seam allowance and 1 without. I feel like it’ll help me measure exactly what I need. I’m having a hard time with the front panels though :/

Here is the back pattern I’m using for my grey warden gambeson. As I’m typing this I’ve come to realize I don’t need a full back I just need half. Good thing the exact middle of the pattern is where the paper separates. It’ll be okay

Everyone say bye bye Orin. I will remake her eventually. I still have her wig! The armor is unwearable and was completely destroyed already at my last con. She was well loved. I still have her bracers though because i wanted to keep something at least

I did a prototype pauldron piece. I need to rework the pattern. Such as making the bottom about an inch or two longer and making the top dip a little flatter. I wasn’t really giving my all just kinda slapping something together to see if i could do it

For the tabard I’m thinking of making hundreds of dragon scale shapes with interfacing and encasing them in grey fabric (I’m going to hate my life) to mimic the texture while also being washable. My goal is for all pieces (except armor) to be washable 😭 This will be a hot costume

It’s time. I’m gonna start researching to make my Grey Warden cosplay. Then I’m gonna see if I can cosplay my Rook or Origins Warden but that’ll probably take a lot of work 😭 Also definitely making a sword and shield (maybe shield)
