I've done a number of DareDevil covers over the years, but this one is still my favourite. I think it was from 2018.

Grisaille finished. The volume and depth are good, so time for colour. Going kinda slow as I spent most of the day yesterday looking for some new music to listen to, only to end up playing the same old stuff.

MK3 commission in progress

Since I posted the Extremis 01 cover yesterday, along with the ground punch cover which celebrated 20 years this year, they were probably the most important images which launched my career along with inspiring the MCU, etc. Here is what I would say is the most important image I ever did for the MCU.

2025 will mark both the 20th anniversary or Iron Man Extremis and my move to the UK. Both quite monumental events in my life.
I painted this cover for Extremis 01 sometime in 2004, I think probably in the summer. I remember painting 02 during that year's Wizard World Chicago.

Snuck into Thought Bubble to meet my favourite cartoonist, Mr Lovenstein himself, JL Westover. I think my love for his work is well known by now, but he was also a super sweet guy.
The rest of the con made me quite sad and I made a hasty exit and went for a burger.
