This illegally issued cedola, or receipt of a betting slip, for the papal #conclave of 21-24 April 1585, was undersigned by the Medici ambassador to Rome (👀), who wagered 100 gold scudi on the victory of Cardinal Alessandro Farnese. (+ a blank version for all your #papalelection betting needs ...)
