Them: Searching for my keys in the morning always makes me late for work.

Me: Your homework - get a key holder and hang it on the wall and make it a habit to hang your keys there.

Next week....

Me: Did you find a key holder you like?

Them: No...but....

Home & Design worthy? No.

Effective? Yes.

Enquiring minds want to know:

Do you refer to yourself as "ADHD" or "neurospicy"?

Does it matter?

What's your preference?

You need to understand three things about your ADHD:

1. How to shift your emotional state.
2. Know your executive functions profile.
3. Be able to actively and intentionally manage your energy.

Where do you need clarity? I might be able to help.

Disclosing you are ADHD to your employer is a very personal decision. But you still need accommodations, right?
How to Ask for What You Need at Work (Without Mentioning ADHD)
Navigating workplace dynamics can feel like a game of mental gymnastics, especially when it comes to asking for what you need without dropping the "diagnosis bomb."

When did you discover you were ADHD?

Me: in my 40s... even after specializing in ADHD - coaching and doing therapy with ADHDers - for more than two decades!

Clearly, I'm slow on the draw.... 🫣😆
The Hidden Realities of Late ADHD Diagnosis in Women

Who here is flirting with (or in a full-time committed relationship with) stress, burnout, or brownout?

Time to break up, my friend. 🧡
A Guide to Living on the Ragged Edge: Stress, Burnout, and Brownout
Between juggling work deadlines, family drama, social obligations, and trying to drink enough water to feel vaguely functional, it’s no wonder we find ourselves teetering on the edge.

What I appreciate about BlueSky the most.... Not being able to indulge my perfectionist anxiety and make edits every five minutes until it's a Pulitzer Prize post. I'm living on the ragged edge...!

Someone explain to me how well-hydrated people get any work done...? Yes, I have become one of those people. Every time I get up from my desk, I face the imminent risk of my ADHD brain getting distracted by something in the path to the restroom. Damned if you're hydrated and damned if you're not.

Chic devastated.

Black is optional.

Just sayin'.

I often see very messy asks in therapy and coaching.

Confusing
Apologetic
Defensive
Overly explained

If you’ve already said “no” to yourself, do not expect others to say “yes”.

Learn how to ask clearly.

As if you mean it.

No ask. No get.

Let's coolify nerdiness!

If you spend all your time being who others want you to be (or think you should be), you miss the joy of being the wonder you are.

Productivity isn’t one-size-fits-all. Executive functions - skills like planning, emotional control, and task initiation - drive every action. Stress or hunger can derail them. Knowing your brain’s strengths is the key to building a system that works for YOU. #ExecutiveFunctions #Productivity #ADHD

They say there's no place like home, but what, and where, is home?

Where you sleep?

Where you eat?

Where you were born?

Where you currently live?

Where you are accepted for who you are.
