Left Cat Harbor this morning because of incoming bad weather. They expect 4-5 foot waves coming directly into the harbor. Didn’t want to experience that.

We were supposed to have left this past Monday for our annual vacation but after our shakedown sail we had a few things to fix. Our neighbor so kindly took this short video as we left for our shakedown. I look so small on the bow.

#crochet I just finished this project. I have no idea why I made it except I thought it was cute. I have no grandchildren or nieces or nephews to pass it on to. So I will just store it until next year and enter it into our local fair.

#crochet lovers. Disappointed with the results at our local county fair. My blanket won special award ribbon. They explained it as it was better than first place but they had to many for the categories of nominated for best of show and best of show. Grandma crochet caddy took a first.

#crochet helpful grandma tip I wish someone had taught me. When taking the label off a skein of yarn wrap a piece of yarn around the label and tape closed. Keep all the labels in a zip lock bag. When you don’t know a color, weight, or hook size you can sort through your labels and find out.
